The idea for my jewelry designs came from carving a wax model of Camel's Hump mountain in Vermont for a high school jewelry making class I was teaching.
While I worked, I wondered "would this be possible with accurate data? Could I merge my love of nature with my love of design?"
With these questions in mind I taught myself how to make 3D models and find sources of data to use for my work. I connected with manufacturers that could deliver high resolution casts of the precisely rendered topographical models that I create with recycled metal and sustainable practices.
My jewelry is for adventurous people and the places they love!
