Featured Artist Speaker Series

Join us Tuesday, September 16th at 7pm at the Northwood Gallery for a presentation and conversation with Daryl Storrs, a print maker and pastel artist living in Huntington, VT.

Artist Statement:

My work reflects the Vermont landscape. Furrowed fields, local farms, birches, and Lake Champlain are just a few places I draw and paint outside in warmer weather. These drawings, as well as my imagination, are the basis for the block prints. Each image may be printed from 5-6 seperate wood or linoleum blocks in successive layers by hand. With each piece I strive to communicate the beauty of the natural landscape.

We hope you’ll join us as we continue to build community through art. Come hang out, meet a new friend, and get inspired.
