Katie Babic Designs

Katie Babic is an accomplished artist based in Vermont, where she has seamlessly integrated her passion for art and nature throughout her life. After earning a master’s degree in counseling and human development alongside a BA in fine arts and education from St. Lawrence University, she returned to her home state, where she married her high school sweetheart and began her family.

In 2020, Katie embarked on a transformative journey, choosing to dedicate her time to raising her three young children. This pivotal experience allowed her to reconnect with her creative process, leading her to explore a unique technique known as "pulling." This term refers to the artist's practice of creating individual prints, resulting in 'one-of-a-kind' pieces that reflect the natural beauty of Vermont’s native hardwoods.

Through her creative approach, Katie Babic shares a heartfelt connection to her environment, capturing the essence of nature's hidden gems. Her work serves as an invitation to others to appreciate and enjoy the beauty that surrounds us.
